3Ms get 3B of the future and low end starter while Cardinals finally move off liboratore who maybe the Ms could unlock. Cardinals get front end starter and replacement for Goldy in 2025.
I like the idea. Liberatore’s underlying ball data isn’t super promising, but if the Mariners see something they can fix then maybe it works. Tink Hence might make them more willing to bite.
Walker is great, but definitely isn’t a 3B. He should probably be a future 1B or a corner OF. I think you could therefore take Locklear out of the package to St Louis. I think it’d make sense to extend this to a 3-way trade with the White Sox where the M’s get Cease in return. The White Sox can then get Liberatore or Hence, Locklear and another M’s prospect.
