This proposal's interesting to me. I'm a Braves fan. I think what we have here is that the Braves are trading away Ian Anderson, Bryce Elder and Marcel Ozuna as well as sending off $11MM. What do they get back? Bryan Woo. I don't get it. I like Woo. Woo was rookie pitcher in 2023, he was in Rookie Ball in 2022. I prefer Elder for the Brave as a known quantity and the hot streak that he had in 2023, I'd rather Bryan Woo side-by-side. But this trade has the Braves also parting with Ozuna, Anderson, and 11 million dollars. Who replaces Ozuna? Free agent signing? From saving $7MM-ish in just 2024? How bad is Ozuna going to be? Admittedly, I'm a bit of a homer. This just doesn't seem like a good idea for the Braves. I'm open to changing my mind. Anyone have a rational thought in an attempt to convince me? I think the M's just traded for OF'ers/DH, C and a SP. Changes the calculus now but it's still an interesting trade proposal as it involves those same positions. Smart trade proposal, IMO. I think it's got the Braves wrong but the agenda of the Mariners just right.

As a Braves fan, keep Ozuna (-6.9, Mariners don't want to spend money), remove Woo replace him with Luis Castillo (value 22.7, again Mariners don't want to spend money, this gets Castillo's contract off their books) Braves delta 1.10 Mariners delta -1.40 Orioles delta 0.30
