1I don't believe the Brewers would ever consider this even if they were tanking. Plesac has become little more than a last resort type guy. A guy you would start only if there was nobody else. Jones is the only player Milwaukee gets who might help if he hits enough to play 3B. Freeman would have no place to play. The Brewers have Wong, then their own high prospect Turang, and Urias to play 2B. Rocchio struggled at AAA and is no help. Campbell is just starting his career and no help. Espino is a great prospect but wouldn't help in 2023 or the start of 2024. The Brewers aren't willing to throw away both seasons and tank. They could do much, much better if they trade two TOR pitchers.
