4brewers move off the Adames contract and get a 1B + prospects. Mariners get iffy 3B/SS depth and great Reliever.
Brewers say no deal to this undervalue trade. The last thing they want are more outfielders. Milwaukee is looking to extend Adames who is far better than "iffy" at SS. They would much rather have him than France who is already in arby. Morales is a very mediocre prospect years away. There is nobody in this that the Brewers would even trade Uribe for.
Mariners also say no because trading 2 years of their starting 1B for one year of Adames doesn’t make sense as it poorly fills one hole (by requiring Adames or Crawford to move off of SS) by creating another at 1B.
