6Makes no sense for the Angels...
I like the return for the Guardians, but it doesn't make sense for the Angels other than they need pitching. Especially if they're trading what is arguably their best SP.
The Guardians may need to kick in a prospect to even out the trade. Detmers is the Angels best SP in my opinion. As mentioned above I would be going after Snell or Montgomery both of whom are left handers. To avoid having a rotation with 4 lefthanded starters Sandoval would be dealt for Bieber who is right handed.
As a Guardians fan I would add a prospect JJ. Have someone in mind? What do the Angels need in their system?
I'm not too familiar with the Guardians farm system but I would be interested in a 3B prospect to take over for Rendon in a couple of years. Maybe Gabriel Rodriguez or Alex Mooney.
By itself no it probably doesn't make sense. But if I'm the Angels I'm moving Trout to LF and going hard after Bellinger to fill CF. I'm also going after Snell or Montgomery to be the number one starter with Bieber and Detmers as my 2 and 3. Bieber has already expressed that he is willing to sign an extension. He is also from So Cal so I don't think it would be a hard sell to extend him. Clase is also signed to a very team friendly deal and would help sure up the bullpen for several years.
