1NickNash! I've admired your trade proposals on this site for a long time and I like reading your comments on a certain Braves-centric website. I would totally not want to see the Braves take on Verlander and his money owed. I'm buying on the likes of one of Elder, Ynoa, Winans, Vines, Dodd, Smith-Shawver, Waldrep, or López. They're all good pitchers and they all have an opportunity to stick with the club if it doesn't work out. It totally would be stupid nuts to have both Verlander and Valdez be 6 WAR SP's and Strider behind them. It's just not a trade that fits the trajectory that I figure the Braves are on.
