8Personally, I'd rather the Dodgers keep the 6+ years of team control of Sheehan, Ferris, Kopp, and Bruns over 2 years of Cease.
Why would Oakland do this?
Unfortunately they wouldn't. I on the other hand think Sears' value is likely to only decline from here whereas the four pitchers the A's receive here would likely over time greatly out produce him and better line up with any potential playoff window so to speak hereto thence therefore...
Down vote for Oakland. There is a ton of risk involved between Crochet's rebuilt elbow and the lack of strike throwing from Bruns and Kopp. The likely upside from those three is bullpen arms.
An earlier version had Ryan Burrowes(3.3) instead of Crochet here but the Dodgers went and spent $25M on Paxton making this an exercise in futility...

So would I but except for Sheehan they could all end up being mediocre relievers or worse. Any suggestions on who'd you like to replace one or more of them with? Keeping in mind the other teams wants/needs. Thanks for the pov.
