6I think the Brewers pass. Paddock hasn't pitched since May of 2022. He's to big a risk. Twins would have to add a better pitcher for the Brewers to trade Gasser and Quero.
Brewers pass... While Arraez would be a great fit for Milwaukee, MKE is simply giving up too much. Gasser and Quero alone would be worth a debate, but with Adames in this trade the Brewers patch one hole but create another. I would have Milwaukee keep Adames and not receive Paddack, someone who hasn't pitched in over a year, and instead receive someone like Edward Cabrera (This would put the deal in MKE's favor, however for them to trade 2 of their top 5 prospects, one of which being a top prospect in baseball, it will have to lean in Milwaukee's favor).
Gasser & Quero aside, would MIL be more open to trading Brice Turang than Adames? BTW Paddack pitched at the end of '23 into the postseason & pitched very well with no problems. I respect your opinion & input . I'll work on it.
Paddock pitched very surprisingly well at the end of the season & postseason & if not acquiring Luzardo in the trade, Paddock wouldn't be up for trade. BTV deems this as a fair trade with everything considered. But appreciate your input.
Just because the numbers say it is a fair trade, does not mean it is a fair trade. The numbers do not take into account the needs of each team now and in the future. I don't see the Brewer needs being met at all here.
Does not MIL need an upgrade at 2B? Does not MIL have a catcher pipeline? SP Paddack (13.3) for prospect Gasser (10.5) is where there's a debate & it's very debatable
