1Doubt that Valdez is even on the market. But this deal helps with that by sending LH Abbott and LHH Fraley to the 'Stros. In return, the Reds get near-ace Valdez, along with a strong defensive guy in Meyers. Balcazar, who was hurt most of last year, is a long way off but has a high ceiling, rounds out the package from the Reds.
