Why would the Twins want to do this. Jeffers and Julien combined project about as much value annually and far move value over their team control.

The answer is simple to go beyond the 1st game of the postseason. W/o another postseason SP the Twins aren't going anywhere. Luzardo is the answer, Jeffers & Julien are good players from our strength, and they are well worth the price of a Luzardo an area of our need.

Pratt isn’t going anywhere. He is going to break out this year, and be a T100 prospect. Kid is a stud. I also doubt the Brewers trade an established RP.

Pratt is a small piece in this puzzle, he doesn't have to be included. But trading for the batting average king in a position of need you have to give up something.
