5Rays are likely to unload another $5-10MM in salary before OD and they’ve already acknowledged shopping Ramirez. Rangers appear to need a decent DH and their Pen is missing a few pieces from last year. Ramirez is a .300 hitter and good for 120-130 wRC+ and Adam has history being a set up man. Both would improve the Rangers. The cost is a decent young SP prospect (which the Rays need) and a young catcher (which the Rays need even more). Is this a win-win trade Rangers fans?
I think there is no chance Harold is moved unless they are blown away.
We will see. I think they want to give Aranda his roster spot.
I hope you're wrong. The 2 wins lost for 4$MM saved will be hard to stomach.
I think Aranda is geared up for a J.Lowe break out this year. Plus, being a lefty will help even out the Rays lineup.
