2The absolute last thing the Brewers want is OFs or teenager. They tell the Padres to come up with somebody other than Zavala if they want to make this trade.
Rhyde1990, I think this is a fair trade. I don't buy the thought that the last thing the Brewers want is an OF. Yes, they have OF depth in both the majors and minors but if the scouting reports on Zavala tell them he has a good chance to be a good MLB player, then the trade wouldn't be refused simply because he's an OF. He probably still has at least 2-3 years before he makes the majors and a lot can change. I think the Brewers would rather trade Mitchell or Weimer before Frelick but Snelling is a big temptation.
