Brewers aren't going to give up that much for a 2B. Julian is terrible at 3B, they have Hoskins and then Black at 1B, the last thing they need is OFs. Julien would be a 2B.
First, I agree with Sooner. I agree with Jmont1 that Julian's position with Milwaukee would be 2B. This would put Ortiz at SS and give Black a chance at 3B instead of 2B. Do the Brewers want to play Black at 3B? I don't know. Julian's presence in the lineup would be a good replacement for Adames and he has 6 years of control. Hoskins is probably a Brewer for only 1 year so Black could move over to 1B in 2025 and possibly Wilken would be ready to play 3B. From all reports, Ortiz will provide great defense at short. I think the Brewers would seriously consider making this trade with Sooner's provision.
I threw in J Salas in the deal for Salas sake. IMO he feels more at home in MIA. BrewersSooner, Spikes, & jmont1, I'll make a new offer substituting Uribe.
