Weems joins the back end of the pen and the Giants clear $8M as they continue to pursue top free agents + look to open up everyday ABs for Matos. Conforto is an upgrade over Winker in the DH spot for the Nationals and could become the hitter we know he has the potential to be not playing in Oracle Park/another year removed from injury. (I think the valuation of Weems is off, he still has years of control but no minor league options so I'd value him in the 1-2 range)
