Honestly not a bad team to trade Bieber to. But this trade leave more holes opened than filled for the Angels. They'd need to find two more position players.

Thank you for your feedback. This is my first trade and this seems like an Arte Moreno win now type move. Bieber should fetch at least an equal return to Giolito. I think this trade is more motivated if they can get out of Straws contract and get Moniak+. I’m going to shuffle the pieces and try again.

Yeah, nice job for your first posted trade.

I find it difficult to believe that the Angels would sell that low on Moniak. He's a very nice player and I'm assuming he's over his back issues. Then again Bieber will not be dealt at the value given to him here so maybe things even out. Great job. At the very least it has logic and brings value to both sides. As a Guardian fan I can't express how much I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

It might be better if Drury was taken out of the deal? Me being me I'd prefer to take Drury and Moniak out of the deal and replace them with Rengifo, but many will disagree.

Actually Cleveland has tried multiple times to get Drury, so the organization likes him. I just feel like Cleveland wants to see what Freeman can do in the OF first. In 25, I could see a Drury added IF Arias and Freeman don't take a step forward in 24...

From Cleveland's perspective, this is likely a no... They won't trade Straw at a negative value. Honestly they will cut him before they traded him that way. Cleveland wouldn't be against Drury, but they kind of stated they want to see the young guys get ABs, so this move would go against that. Plus Cleveland is using Freeman in the OF to find him a roster spot since they love his bat and they are being very bullish on what they want for Bieber. Moniak is also a left handed OF and they badly need a RH one. They have some good LH hitting OFs on paper, prospect wise. Like this trade is a good one, I just don't think it's in the frame of mind of what Cleveland is looking for...
