this is my thinking: Cubs need flexibility in bullpen. Smyly has no options. 10M , 1 year...Angels could use additional SP depth. Owner doesn't like long term deals with pitchers. Wisdom could play 3B/1B RH bat like Drury but for 2.5M. Mastrobuoni is Pre-Arb addition to Angel 3B/2B/LF mix. He bats L. Drury 8.5M, 1 year gives Cubs solid 3B/2B/DH guy. Salary is approximately correct listed, totals LA adds maybe5M. I see decent for both sides.
Cubs drop salary and add a 3Bman. I like it. Use savings to sign Stanek. 1 yr 6 mil.
