Angels send 3B Drury to Cubs, 8.5M. 2025 FA. Cubs send LHP Smyly 10.5M, 2025 FA to LA (cubs gain flexibility in bullpen) also trade 3B Wisdom, 2B/3B Madrigal (who make approx 4.5M together) and lower pitching prospect. Net cost about 6.5M for LA but after 2024 they have 3 of these guys. A different lower pitching prospect would be fine. Just should be lower value type, 1-2
