I just don't see the Rays ever giving him a real chance and I don't know why, you remember Quirez (spellong?) from a few years ago, reminds me of that situation, a bad defensive 2B that killed milb pitching but never got any attention, he definitely deserves a chance somewhere.
I think Aranda is a sure bet to make the team out of ST. The question I have is whether Aranda gets all DH opportunities against RHP or is forced to share ABs with Ramirez.
