Regardless of what I think of this from a Cleveland fan's perspective, what makes you think the Orioles would be interested in this at all? I already know the answer, but I am interested in reading your explanation.

For the Orioles it's because they are deep in hitting and need more pitching... Moving Norby for a near MLB ready pitching prospect makes a ton of sense because they are trading from Strength to help bolster SP depth... Guardians get a solid hitting prospects and a solid SP prospect back for Bieber while the Giants add a solid SP pitcher who is likely to sign with a West Coast team on paper...

From an Orioles perspective, I think they would rather go after Bieber as opposed to facilitating a trade for the Giants. The Orioles are in win now mode and could use a starter now rather than another 40-45 FV pitching prospect at AAA that the Orioles have an abundance of (Povich, McDermott, Armbruester, Johnson)

Problem is the Orioles don't have the right mix of prospects to get Bieber, since the SP prospects they do have aren't ones Cleveland would like on paper...

What exactly do you mean by "the right mix of prospects"? They have the best prospects in all of baseball as a whole. The O's aren't going to do this because it doesn't make any sense for them to do this. If they're going to trade for a ready/near ready SP prospect I promise you it will be for one a helluva lot better than Black. They have the resources to get just about anyone they want.

My point is... Giants have good SP prospects but they lack hitting talent and Baltimore is the opposite since they have good hitting but not strong SP talent (their SP prospects all have high BB rates)... Cleveland is gonna want hitting RH hitting with pop plus an SP prospect for Bieber... Neither team actually has two prospects that actually work, hence why I did the three team trade... Plus with Bieber being from the west coast, he is way more likely to sign with a west coast team... It would be easier for the Giants than Baltimore to retain him...
