2This deal is very interesting for TB cause it's older players but still a good amount of control, maybe Yastrzemski gets switched out with a younger pitcher taking his place might be more appealing for the Rays, not sure if Oakland does the deal though.
I don't think this trade works for the Rays for a few reasons, but mostly because I don't think the Rays have any intention of trading Aroz before the Deadline at the earliest. That notwithstanding, I also don't think the Rays need to add to their outfield group, as this trade would kick both DeLuca and Palacios to Durham, or have any desire to do trades that keep payroll at current levels (ie: Yaz's salary over the next 2 years will essentially equal what Aroz is going to earn over those same 2 years). Adding Langeliers is intriguing though.
