Definitely an out there throwing it to a wall type of trade. Luzardo has greater upside than Schmidt and we get the UTL guy we need. I know Marlins will insist on either Jones or Dominguez, but that just isn’t happening. If it is a dealbreaker so be it. Yanks need to get another SP after this as well. Marlins with all of their pitching injuries get two 2024 (Hampton back half) for the price of one.
