Cleveland wants Steer, but no one else in this deal... Cleveland had a legit chance to get Davis and they didnt...
Reds are not trading Steer and A's also say no. I don't see your constant fascination with two mediocre, short-term assets. Show some patience.
One person say's Reds are not giving up Steer, the other says Cleveland is not giving up McKenzie. Yet, would it benefit both teams? Yes, Cleveland gets another everyday starting outfielder who can hit for power (platoon Brennan and Freeman) and the Reds get probably their #1 or #2. People with problems with this trade are probably the same people who wanted to clown me for putting Espino and Straw in trades.........
Down vote for Oakland. Trading two legit MLB players for what is essentially 1 pitching prospect (that has struggled to build his workload) and roster fill does not make sense for the A's.
I don't blame you for the down vote here grover and the A's don't really need to be involved anyway. The Reds could use McKenzie and the Guardians would be better with Steer. McKenzie for Steer and Petty makes a lot more sense.

The real value here for Cleveland is Steer and I'd probably pull the trigger because of him. However, I would prefer to not have Davis in the deal.
