7If what world does this make any sense for the Guardians? They certainly are not going to trade him for the value listed here.
To get Bieber, it would take probably a solid RH hitting prospects near MLB if not playing in MLB with team control plus a solid SP prospect that Cleveland would like (Aka plus command/control)

It's unfornate that they didn't. The industry knew he was at high risk for TJS, which has now sadly been confirmed.
All pitchers are at risk for Tommy John Surgery. John, are you going to reduce all pitchers' values? Also, trading for another SS prospect or making the Twins potentially better also made no sense.
Sigh. Injury risk is a component of every pitcher’s value. But some have more significant indicators than others, and that was the case here.
