3This isn’t a trade the Rays would be interested in. Rays are pretty well set at outfield. J.Lowe is expected back in 2-3 weeks, and upon his return the Rays outfield will consist of Aroz (LF), Siri (CF), and Lowe (RF), who combined for over 9 fWAR last year. Plus, Yelich’s salary is a complete nonstarter for the Rays. It’s also really hard to see the Rays trading any controllable pitching. Maybe guys like Eflin and Civale at the deadline (or the off-season) because they are only controlled for 1 more year and the Rays like to trade guys before they become free agents, but not Springs. Springs’ upside to the cost of his contract is far too high for the Rays to trade him at a negative valuation while he recovers from TJS. Sorry, but the Rays say no.
Brewers laugh hysterically at the joke and walk away. Contreras is untouchable and Yelich has a full NTC that he wouldn't waive to go to Florida. The way Yelich has been playing, his is more than playing up to his contract for Milwaukee. With Springs out all of 2024 and maybe longer, the only guy the Brewers would have any interest in is Taylor, and definitely not for anything close to Yelich or Contreras. I don't think I've seen a worse trade for Milwaukee.
Umm Springs will be back in July sooo not sure where you're getting that info from...
