3Only Jed Homer would sign a fat, over-the-hill 35 yr. Old pitcher with a diminishing 93 mph fastball and lousy control to a 9 million dollar contract. Cuas, his acquisition for Nelson Velazquez, is worse, withou the big contract. Lester Jr. and Almonte are only slightly better. What a mess. We are seeing how “great” Counsell is w/o Snell and Williams to close out games. Cubs have been lucky so far this season. They need bullpen help desperately.
When did Counsell have Snell?
Thinking Hader, typed Snell.
