In this trade, Guardians get 2 of the worse pitchers I have ever seen in my life. In the interest of speeding up the game, they should just put up 2 balls on the scoreboard when either faces a batter, because neither is capable of throwing a first, or second, pitch strike. Last night Neris comes in and walks 3 in a row, in a one -rune game, next batter scorches a ball into a double play and he fist pumps walking off the mound. Thank god I was not in the stands, or I would've gone berserk. $9 mil, life-changing money, for 1 year of watching this fat, slob throw slow, wild pitches. But compared to Cuas, he is Juan Marichal. In return, Cubs get Straw, whom I immediately convert into a reliever. I don't know if he has a good arm, or not. He's better than the two Cleveland gets from the Cubs. Maybe make him a starter. Who knows?

Cleveland wouldn't just dump Straw to be sincere and this would be a dump... Would the Cubs legitimately add him to the MLB roster?

Cubs don't need Straw with Belli, PCA and Franklin. But he has value. I still think the best constructed team position wise was the Big Red Machine. Every team needs a Geronimo in CF, which is Straw in his dreams. Glad Cubs didn't waste prospects on two outings of Bieber.

Cleveland isn't going to move Straw unless the team they are trading him too actually promises and adds him to the 40 man roster...

Benjo

I promise.
