Down vote for Oakland. You're going to have to lead with someone other than Genao, he just doesn't fit the profile of what the A's acquire.... And I recognize the joke I set up.... Torres might be interesting as a tertiary piece but Mace isn't. The A's have tried to focus on adding more contact oriented bats, so Rodriguez's strengths aren't as appealing as they once were.

Cleveland wouldn't be open to this either...

BigBat

Cleveland would laugh this one out of the building in the same way they would the rest of the deals you've posted involving them recently. Not quite sure how Rodriguez's strengths aren't as appealing as they once were. That's just a biased look at another organizations successful prospect. He has his flaws for sure, but hitting and power are not on that list. Look at his age, level and performance over the last 2-3 yrs along with his value here. They don't line up.

BigBat

After a bit of a slow start Rodriguez is already up to 293/414/483/897 and climbing. This will be the 3rd or 4th yr in a row with that type of offensive production and he has been young for every level he's played.
