3I expect Meyer’s BTV valuation to drop since he was just optioned to minors, a la C. Morel last year, but nevertheless think this would be a good trade for both teams. Mervis deserves a chance. Alcantara starting to hit. Berry hasn’t done squat but Cubs need pitching.
I like this deal for both sides.

BTV valuation to drop since he was just optioned to minors. does not hurt value . it just limit inning on him. he not going anywhere right now. with a winning record . and marlins won't a pitcher in return. why you think AJ puk getting more than one start before injure came. return is low also.
