3Deadline Deal; Walker returns and pitches well. Dombrowski tells ownership if we get Hader we will win it all. Ownership agrees to add payroll. Astros save $$$ and get a SP and start to re tool. The Phillies add Hader and ………….win it all?
Does anybody know what the rule is on trading a player who just signed a free agent deal, (Hader)? Did it change with the last contract between the league and players? I think it used to be 6 months from the day he signed but for some reason I think it’s a year now.
If Dave Dombrowski thought Hader would make them win it all he would’ve signed him in the offseason
