6Miley is out with an elbow injury - Strike One. Cleveland is not trading their comp A pick. Strike Two. I don't see Milwaukee trading Adames yet, or Cleveland trading for him. Strike Three.
An awful trade for Milwaukee. There is absolutely no value here for the Brewers. They don't want teenagers in any trade. Messick is still in A+ an years away. The comp pick is the best part of the deal.
The Brewers are in a penant race. Neither pitcher gives them anything for years to come, maybe never. Adames is playing well. Milwaukee could do so much better looking elsewhere.
Miley will undergo Tommy John Surgery. No value here for the Guardians as well.
How about Rocchio for Adames instead? Even if that wouldn't work I don't think this deal makes sense for either team. Clemmey is so underrated here that it is almost comical.

If you guys where rebuilding the deal makes a ton of sense for the Brewers... But you aren't, but you for sure would win it in the end since Cleveland wants nothing to do with this deal...
