Chourio isn't going to be available...
While I would want something similar if I were the Marlins, I don't think Cleveland will part with Chourio for a guy like Meyer if at all. He's headed up the list of top 100 prospects and toward the top is where he likely ends up. The power is starting to show and he's always been a better defensive player than his brother Jackson. 16.8 isn't close to Jaison's actual value. He just dinged here because Cleveland is one of a very few teams that does not share their scouting reports with the likes of Fangraphs. It's the whole Espino thing over again.

For a young team controlled starting pitcher, I disagree
Luzardo just went down... He has had injury issues in the past and now it's an elbow issue.... Hard to see the Marlins moving Max Meyer after that news. Meyer also didn't pitch in 23 cause of an injury issue... I am not saying Cleveland would be against having Meyer, but they aren't going to trade a top 5 prospect in their organization to trade for a guy coming off an injury... Plus Messick is in the deal as well, and I don't think they will part with him either.
