6Casas hurt. Deal that could be/should be made
Cubs need a closer. I believe the Dalbec streak when I see it. I'm thinking Hendricks for Jansen. Salaries the same. When Hendricks returns from DL, he will pitch like Cy Young for 10 weeks.
Dalbec for Hendricks should be the deal. Hendricks appears to be done and Dalbec never has started.
The Professor is not done. Just a sore back. It's not like he lost his fastball, because he never had one. A couple Doan's pills and he will be fine.
Interesting trade idea! I think that this idea could work later in the season. If the Cubs were willing take less money around 500,000-1,000,000 maybe. Jensen is slightly more reliable than Neris, but that isn't saying much. Do the RS need Wisdom is debatable. An insurance policy isn't the worst idea considering Casas` injury. Hard call.
