8Yeah, our model overweighted Arraez's slow start a little too much, I'm afraid. We'll definitely look into that. That said, there isn't a ton of surplus value left on Arraez, as he's getting expensive and his control is dwindling.
Steep price to pay for an extra 3 months vs the possible deadline cost. And you’re basically bidding against yourself. I’m a fan of and have been following Dillon Head so that part of the trade I really like for the Marlins. Padres get a bat for a playoff run, I really like this aggressive early move. Did Woo-Suk Go have to give his approval to be traded? Didn’t he just sign and have no trade rights until June 15th?
I felt like Arraez was too low of value... Plus I wonder IF Arraez asked for a trade out of Miami since it was a weird time to trade him...
Cash considerations was $7.9m
So that makes it 19.5 for 13.2…allowed as major overpay
Same with Arozarena I think. Randy looks lost, but he's only been bad for 100 or so PA. I think the system overcorrected. Still, top 5 baseball site in the game John. Well done.
I came so close; https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/trades/166430
Padres also getting cash considerations from the Marlins…
