Cleveland is definitely at least inquiring about Ward... I don't think they will let Brennan go for him though... Plus to get Clemmey from Cleveland, you will have to triple his BTV value if not more, to get Cleveland to listen to the deal...

You may very well be right about Brennan, and I do like him, but I just don’t see how he fits the long term plans other than as a 4th outfielder. His peripheral stats show great potential for progression, but 2025 will surely include DeLuater + Fry/Kwan/Freeman and any combo of Velera, Rodriguez and Schneemann. He feels expendable to me in a year where they are showing a legitimate chance to content for a AL title.
Like I am not against Ward, and I want him, but he's not a strong OF defensively and likely is going to be at LF going forward. Kwan isn't being moved from LF since he's just way too good there defensively... Ward ends up more a spot OF (maybe getting him more 1B reps again) and a DH in Cleveland. Now if we trade Brennan for Ward, we end up really hurting our OF defense and that's one of the things that's helped us get us to where we are at now... I mean, you aren't wrong, long term, does Brennan have a spot? I just feel for 24 though, they will try to get Ward while keeping Brennan...
