As an orioles fan this would be easy, not sure why the the Athletics would do this tho.
The nameless execs that contribute to the articles written about trading Mason Miller all say the same things: Relievers are volatile. Oakland has leverage because Miller has 5 more years of control. Any deal, if it happens, the return would be huge. A swap for Heston Kjerstad does not meet that standard. Now... there's a fair argument to made about what constitutes a "huge" return in the eyes of Dave Forst. He's dealt mid-tier pieces (with cherries on top) to acquire 1 prospect but he's preferred more bulk when trading high-end assets.
