If the Phillies want Mason Miller the offer needs to start with Aiden Miller. I'm not sure Marsh is enough of a defensive upgrade in CF (he's better than Bleday but that's a very low bar). Caba is too far away.

Rooker and miller r great players but they wont yield top 50 prospects bc they are DHs and relievers. Miller and painter from the Phillies would never be on the table
I understand the argument but the A's want to push for .500 next season and they are under no financial urgency to trade Rooker or Miller. There's no reason to trade them this offseason unless the A's can get exactly what they want. They've said 3rd base and front of the rotation are the priority and Marsh doesn't cover either need. I agree Painter is unlikely to get dealt this winter.
