2At first glance looks good but once you do a simple check of salaries of Tucker and Valdez for 2025 totals are 35.5M and both are FA at the end of the year. All that for three of the Reds young starting players, two of which are SP, who are all being paid peanuts and have years to go till free agency. Unfortunately, very unfortunately Reds don't have the Astros money to spend and after Reds ownership got done laughing would say uh no thanks.
