Not horrible for Yanks. Especially if Twins take on Stroman’s entire deal. But call me butthurt or bitter as a Yankee fan. I don’t know about Correa’s personality (I feel that way about the Astros from that era). Also he would have to move to 3B. Volpe is the better defender at SS. He needs to stay there. Will Correa agree to that?
I mean Correa is good and has proven it many times in the playoffs (even excluding 2017). But I am terrified about his vesting options from years 4-8. If it was a standard 4 yrs left on it I am ok. I am preparing non Soto contingency plans (I think he signs w/the Mets).

I agree. This would never happen. I didn’t even mean to post it. This would be a trade the Yankees could do if they lose out on Soto (I think they keep Soto), but fans would go nuts if the response to losing Soto is Correa even tho he is a great player.
