1Maybe unrealistic for the Rockies to take both Mitches, but I think this framework makes some sense. Mariners get an everyday 3B without adding salary this year. Rockies aren't contending this year (or the next couple, most likely) so they give up McMahon and take on a contract to take a swing at a couple Mariner SP prospects.
