I think you need to overpay for pitching but thoughts for Mets/Padres

Not a bad return IMO. I'd prefer a younger pitcher but as is not an unfair trade for either side.

I think it’s dangerous to trade for 1yr of cease, I don’t think he’ll sign an extension or accept a QO, of course the Mets could just blow him away with an offer but I think it’s an all in year if you trade for him.
