Messick doesn't fit the type of arm Oakland seems to like... Kind of negates the deal...
Down vote for the A's. Welbyn is still too far away to appeal to Forst. If you really want Rooker and want to build a trade around a low minors prospect, use Jaison Chourio (28.8 BTV). The A's absolutely love bloodlines and they'll love him having more walks than K's. They've been searching for a long-term answer in CF. Add Andrew Walters (3 BTV) to balance the 40 man rosters (and strengthen the A's pen behind Mason Miller) and maybe Forst reconsiders his 2025 plans. He might even ask for Cleveland to include Myles Straw to offset the lost salary!
