I think that would be a horrible deal for TB cause I always thought Rendon Robert Jr was overhyped and as soon as he got paid his numbers dropped off aka he stopped caring IMO, now WS do have 2 top catching prospects so I could see a trade centered around one of them and pieces for Pepoit helping both teams by trading from depth
Agreed. I also can't see the Rays acquiring any outfielders this year in a significant deal (Jankowski type players are fine until Lowe returns in 2-3 weeks). Like it or not, the Rays made a big trade for Morel last year, and they have Simpson and J.Lowe as the other every day players. Throw in break-out stars Misner, Mangum and Deluca, and steady eddy Palacios, and the Rays have too many outfielders. They aren't looking to acquire another.
