It doesn't make sense for either team...
Nice little trade there although I would not include CES and or Steer. Reds need an outfield like Kwan. I think he is a bit overpriced here but I like your thinking. However I do think the Reds will get a bigger haul and even an overpay if his trajectory continues to climb. Reds should trade him with like a year or two left before he becomes a FA. Would be good to see what a team like Dodgers, Mets or Yankees would cough up. Remember you have to be able to afford Elly after he becomes a FA and he is a Boris client and no way Cleveland can extend him.
