Why would the Rays want to swap Monty for Bummer in a lost season? They aren’t exactly hurting for pitching prospects, so Braun isn’t enough incentive to give up a good young reliever with 6 years of control while adding a lot of salary too.
Cleveland is going to say no... They have had no production from RF, so Thomas being healthy could really help, plus Cleveland is going to be like give us 60 value for Clase or don't come to the table. This deal does nothing for Cleveland...
Clearly a Braves fan that didn't consider what the other 2 teams might actually need or require.
