I know it is. It's a win now move. But Skenes is controlled longer than Kirby and word is M's are less likely to get a long term deal with him over their other starters. Henderson takes over at 3rd and M's still have Young that can come up for 2nd as well as Arroyo. M's have the 3rd pick in the draft and mock drafts have them taking a pitcher. With Pirates I would also be happy to change 1 of the prospects to Ford. It would still give the Pirates 4 top 100 prospects but these ones are all around the same age
Yeah the more I chew on it the more I like it for everyone. Maybe the Os add Kjerstad to the Ms, but even without that I'd do it.
I might shot down for this by the O's fans but Holiday would move to SS, Westbury at 2nd and Williamson can take over at 3rd. With Mayo at 1st that's still a strong INF and they get their ace
