It would seem like the Rays and Cardinals should be able to come together on a trade, given the Rays need for a catcher and the number of top catchers in the Cardinals system. I’m not sure the Rays will jump at the opportunity to trade Isaac (at all or for a return that has Hence making up half the return). Maybe a smaller trade for just Crooks would work. Are the Cardinals going to be buyers or sellers at the deadline?
