Gorman is cutting back his K’s and will eventually break out with playing time, but inability to trade Arenado will block him for two more years. Koperniak will soon be passed up by Davis, Both are ready to play in Majors and Athletics are in a position to provide the runway for them. Cards get Immediate LHP relief with Brasso who can give multiple innings. Waldichuk also can be stellar in bullpen role when available. Barnett gives cards depth in triple AAA

Down vote for the A's. They don't have room for Koperniak, a lefty-swinging COF that'll be stuck behind Soderstrom and Butler. Is Gorman cutting back on the K's because of growth or due to being protected with limited at bats? I've often wondered how he'd fair if you stuck him at the hot corner instead of the keystone but I wouldn't trade so many arms to find out.
