This would be an expansion of the previous deal between the Sox and Phillies. The Red Sox would be clearing the path for Anthony and get two premier prospects in Miller (25th overall) and Jensen (88th overall) as well as a former 1st round pick, who pitched very well in his debut. The Phillies upgrade CF and fill a major hole in the pen. The Royals upgrade their offense in the OF and get a guy with a lot of playoff experience.

Marsh is horrendous. There’s 0 shot the Royals sell low on Jensen for someone who’s that bad.

He is not a perfect player and has his faults, but he is not a horrendous player. He is typically rated very highly in average exit velocity and sprint speed. And he can work the count and get his walks. He's a better COF than CF, and with Isbel in CF, he'd shift over and play a GG level LF at that ball park. Offensively, he'd be an upgrade over Rave and Waters, and having two plus defenders in the OF may enable the team to roll the dice on a Caglianone call-up, taking one of the worst OF offenses to at least middle of the pack. And I don't think the playoff experience should be undervalued for a young team like the Royals. He has 32 postseason games under his belt. Last year, the Yuli Gurriel playoff experience was on the narratives that writers leaned into, and he was well past his prime. This would be a player who had been there and done that with the Phillies, but still in his prime.
