1This is less of a current move and one meant for the trade deadline; Kim is a great piece for the left side of the infield while Andy Ibanez and Trey Sweeney are struggling and adds depth to their weakest spots while Fairbanks gets Detroit a lockdown closer; not a huge move but could push the tigers over the edge in the playoffs. For the Rays, they could use an outfield/DH power righty in their lineup and JHM is going to get lower and lower on Detroit’s depth chart, while Hamm is a top pitching prospect for the Rays to morph into another quality starter
