Arizona: Arias headlines the return, a good SS prospect who’s only 19. AZ also takes on Stroman, a FA at the end of the season, and his 18.5m salary. Yankees: Bring in a needed righty bat, with a .820 OPS., and allow Jazz to shift back to his natural position at 2nd. Suarez costs 15m, so the money matches up well in this deal, with NY saving 3m. Suarez is a rental, so the Yankees can keep the door open for their top 3B prospect, George Lombard, for next year.
